About us

We are a small group of mainly ‘Cornish Maids’ (a spin off from Champagne Cornwall Chorus), coming together through a mutual love of music and song. Most of us come from around the St Austell Bay area.

Striving to be that little bit different, we sing our own arrangements of Cornish songs, shanties and like to revive old folk songs. Even introducing some blues and barbershop, all in our own unique Acapella harmony style.

We perform at Shanty Festivals all over the West Country.

We feel very privileged to be able to call on the help and musical expertise of the MDs from our mother group Champagne Cornwall Chorus; Ann Moody, Carole Clemes and Liz Blackler, who arrange some of our songs. We so value your support ladies, THANK YOU! One of our baritones, Chris Seaman, is also working her way around arrangements and has done two for us so far. Well done Chris and thank you too!
